An ordinary line becomes a solid wall.

I started this work by carefully tracing the arc created by the leading edge of a swinging door that served as the entrance to the exhibition venue. Next I built a solid brick wall over the line and painted my wall to match the surrounding, original walls in the building. The door is usually left in its closed position. Visitors can push the door open to observe the work.
